FAQ

FAQ

What is the shelf life of your product?

There is a best before date on all of our bottles. We recommend opening before this date and enjoying within one month of opening for premium freshness! It is important to note that our Honeycomb Cream and Oat & Honey are not shelf stable. Due to the nature of our ingredients, and being preservative free, you must keep those spirits refrigerated! Our Cabin Fever and JOE are shelf stable!

I ordered a bottle of Bootleg Spirits for local delivery. When can I expect it to arrive?

All of our local shipping falls into delivery zones between Kimberley and Sparwood. You can expect to have your product delivered within one week of being ordered. All orders that fall outside of our local delivery zones will be subject to a shipping fee, with fluctuating delivery times based on demand, but we have not seen any of our spirits take longer than a week to reach our customers!

What sizes can I order?

We offer our spirits in 250ML bottles, and 500ML bottles.

Do you have any products that meet certain dietary restrictions?

We do! Our Oat & Honey is created with Oat Milk, and is an incredible dairy and gluten free alternative. Make sure to give this one a little shake before enjoying, as the Oat Milk can separate!

How do I place an order?

You can easily place an order online. You can also send us an email to place an order at info@bootlegspirits.ca or give us a shout for a phone order at 250-430-1901

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (except American Express), Apple Pay, and online transfers for phone or email orders.

Where do you deliver your products?

Bootleg Spirits is available to be delivered to anyone over the relevant provincial drinking age in Canada. Contact us for any special shipping requests.

Scottish Breaky

This hearty pick-me-up will have you ready to go in no time. Mix 1 oz Scotch, 1 oz JOE, 1 oz Oat & Honey or Honeycomb Cream. Pour over ice and sip this one slowly! For those that love the sweets - add a little bit of maple syrup.

The Side Kick

The perfect drink for the coffee purist. Pour 1-2 oz of espresso into a cup. Chase it with 1 oz of Oat & Honey. We don't want you to mess with the classics, so sometimes they work best on their own (but also side by side).

The Shaft

The perfect latenight cocktail! Blend 2 oz Cold Brew, 1 oz Vodka, 1.5 oz Oat & Honey, 1/2 oz JOE. Pour over a large ice cube and enjoy!

Heikos Sunrise

Warm up on those winter mornings. Mix 4 oz of hot water + 1 hot chocolate packet (or pre-made hot chocolate). Pour 1 oz of Contreau into the bottom of the glass, add 2 oz of JOE + hot chocolate. Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings and orange garnish.

On the Rocks

Keeping it classic when you don't want to mess with a good thing. Pour 2-3 oz of Oat & Honey or Honeycomb Cream over ice.

The Latte

Add 1-2 oz of Honeycomb into your favourite latte with regular milk or Oat Milk. Top with foam and cocoa!

The Ice Over

Keep it simple on those hot days! We've tried various ice cube flavours, and love using coffee for this one. Simply make your choice of ice cube and pour 2-3 oz of Oat & Honey or Honeycomb Cream over top. Enjoy!

Chai Latte

Adding a little extra "spice" to your traditional Chai Latte. Add 1-2 oz of Honeycomb Cream, Oat & Honey, or JOE. Mix and top with foam, along with cinnamon + a cinnamon stick.

The Cold Brew

Taking a classic for a spin. Fill a glass with 1/3-1/2 ice along with 8 oz of your favourite cold brew coffee. Pour in 2 oz of Honeycomb Cream or Oat & Honey! You can also add in an extra ounce of JOE!

The Frappe

In a blender, add 2 oz Honeycomb Cream, 1 cup of coffee or cold brew, 2 oz of milk, 2 scoops of ice cream and then blend. Pour into a tall glass, and top with Dalgona and chocolate shavings!

Bourbon

2 oz of Honeycomb Cream or Oat & Honey, 1 tsp water, 3 dashes Angostura bitters and garnish with an orange twist. Best if paired with a roaring fire on a cold night.

Apple Cider

We love a good apple cider, but we especially love this one with an extra twist. Simmer 2 oz of water, along with 4 oz of Apple Cider, and pour into a mug with 2 oz of Cabin Fever. Top with Honeycomb Cream Whipped Cream and garnish with nutmeg. YUM.

Hot Toddy

We like to call this one Mountain Madness....Add 5 oz of boiling hot water to a mug with 2 oz of Cabin Fever. Add a lemon slice or wedge and stir with a cinnamon stick. Want to get a little extra flavour in there? Try dipping the cinnamon stick in honey!

The Muddle

This was an easter inspiration for us and was the perfect addition to our easter dinner! Enjoy anytime! Muddle 3 strawberries, add in the juice of 1/2 a lime, add 3 oz of Cabin Fever and top up with soda! Garnish with lime peel and a strawberry.

The Bunny

We love a good hack, especially the Lindt chocolate bunny hack! Each of the 100g bunnies holds about 3-3.5 oz, so we thought about blending a few for these delicious Bunny drinks. Get 1oz of cold coffee, 1 oz of JOE and 1 oz of Honeycomb Cream or Oat & Honey. Blend and pour into the Lindt Bunnies. Add a straw. Sip and enjoy!

Irish Mule

Based on the classic Moscow Mule, we've added yet another twist on a classic drink. Miz 2 oz of Cabin Fever with 6 oz of Ginger Beer (we personally love Fever Tree Ginger Beer!), juice of half a lime, and a little bit of ginger to garnish. Add a lime wedge and pour over ice!
